HR Officer - mat. cover - fmcg Doncaster - excellent work experience in 'generalist' HR - £18,000 plus
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy office and be part of the HR Team covering maternity for the HR Officer.
The role reports into the HR Manager and you will be part of a small HR dept.
The role will involve all aspects of HR from recruitment selection, disciplinary and grievances, absence monitoring, exit interviews, looking at time and attendance, training (training and supporting Line Mangers), contracts and offer letters, welfare meetings, and being fully involved in all aspects of HR at this level across the site.
The site is a busy demanding site with 90% of the shop-floor workforce being of foreign nationality and the customers are blue-chip and demanding. The hours are 8.30 - 5.00 and the role / hand over is to start in June 08.
This is a great opportunity for someone to gain experience in the fmcg sector with a well known client in a demanding busy environment where you will get excellent exposure to 'generalist' HR at HR Officer level.
Ideally the ideal candidate will have worked at a similar level in HR before and enjoy the fast paced pressure and working in a busy office which always has a back-log of work to get through. The role is likely to last a year and will give someone some excellent experience.
