Interim Planning Engineer Required

Our client is a leading manufacturing company based in north Doncaster who are now looking to appoint an Interim Planning Engineer for a Thirteen week contract. The salary is £35,000 per annum but Pro Rata for the 13 week period.

Responsible for :-

TO PROVIDE MAINTENANCE, GARAGE and PROJECT FUNCTIONS WITH AN EFFECTIVE, ALL EMBRACING, PLANNING AND ORGANISING INFRA-STRUCTURE


1) SCHEDULING PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE

2) COLLECTION AND PRESENTATION OF THAT DATA WHICH THERE-BY DEMONSTRATES EFFECTIVENESS OF MAINTENANCE STRATEGY

3) ESTABLISH SPARES POLICY WITH KEY EQUIPMENT SUPPLIERS

4) MANAGING A SITE WIDE ASSET DATA BASE WITH TIMELY RE-APPRAISAL

KEY MEASURES OF SUCCESS
Reduction in unplanned equipment failure
Tenacious resilience to embed new working practices
Consistently achieves key dates
Maintains good working rapport with craft and production group
Established computer skills, re Windows based proprietary systems
Positive involvement in quality, health & safety.
Welcomes change
Flexibility, able to appreciate implementation issues
Ideally come from a similar role with either a manufacturing or FMCG industry
